Anthology fun

It's been a long time. I have moved to the UK, changed job a few times and finally focussed on making comics in a mildly organised manner.
I have work in a number of anthologies which are either recently published or coming soon. Ones that are recently released:
Volume 2 has been cooking for over a year now, and Issue 1 is now for sale on IndyPlanet. I inked one of the stories in this issue (HoneyPot, below) and have had a hand in around five throughout the volume.

Connections
Sunday Comix have put together an anthology, 'Connections', to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In their own words, the anthology is a "collection of comics about growth, renewal, and reinvention in the face of the losses and changes that we all experience".
I feel extremely honoured to be part of this anthology. Connections debuted at the Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo (SPACE) in Columbus, Ohio, on July 18 and 19, 2015 and is available for sale here. It's a beautiful book, bursting with talent and for a very good cause.

Portfolio terror

So, a couple of months ago I signed up to a thing called Portfolio Night (www.portfolionight.com) which runs in a bunch of countires and the designy among you may have heard of.
It's tomorrow.
I've been looking at my portfolio for three days and I'm pulling a blank on how to improve it ahead of tomorrow. Probably partially because I've a flu thing and pretty burned out at the end of term.
Pretty petrified anyway...

Illustration: What inspires you?

Hello, hello,
Finally a self-directed project in college, meaning I can flee from branding and corporate stuff to do a completely self indulgent project.
So, I'm doing an illustrated book. I'm kind of terrified I'll mess it up, but excited too.
"Research" involves a lot of pouring over the work of truly brilliant artists and being generally amazed and awed. So, who is your favourite illustrator? (Or artist, it's a fine line)
