Oil on canvas
Brushes and palette knife

This is my second attempt at oil on canvas in my life, the first was woeful but I'm fairly happy with this. The original composition had two people walking up the path but when I got this far I lost the nerve to mess with it any further.

My anger and shame to think how they'd made mock of all that I loved. My Justice and her bestial swain, cavorting in their blood-stained sheets - V, V for Vendetta.

I claim Neville Longbottom in the =bishie-stalker-club

they dry really slowly so if you make a mistake you're kind of stuck with it for several weeks. However the colours are much more beatiful and luminous than acrylic

From Gimmefeedback:

I really like it as it is but I admit I'm really curious as to what the people would add to the piece and I'd love to see it that way... but I'm not sure if it would take something away from it in the end. It's a bit of a gamble I guess.
ha ha sorry this has to be the most useless piece of advice ever.

I really like it with the tree as the centre of the image, since it emphasizes the contrast between the colour of the leaves and the background. Maybe the people would add a whole different touch to it, but it's pretty like it is...simplicity is beauty. :)

Behold, for I stand at the door and knock.
:icondark-arrancar:
Well, i must say that the colors make an interesting contrast whit the background
I dont think that the picture is incomplete or something, but i also think that you shuold have tried the people thing. However, and you may already know this, you should keep the image balanced, i mean, not fill all the canvas just because with no sense
I dont really know to much of the theme, but thats my point of view. Hope this had helped you in some way.
Anyway, congratulations. Keep the good work
